2/2017/1709/LBC - Littleport,  Main Street, Shroton DT11 8QD - Proposal - Demolish existing conservatory and garage.  Erect 2 No. single story extensions, glazed link and garage/carport.  Remove cement render and  replace with lime render and carry associated internal and external alterations.  Clerk advised council of application with NDDC response time set for 2 January 2018. Clerk to request an extension for observations and comments if to be tabled at the 17 January 2018 Parish Council meeting.  Cllr Hewitt and Cllr Morris to advise the Clerk.


2/2017/1686/HOUSE - Wolfe Grange, Fairfield Road, Shroton DT11 8QA - Proposal - Convert existing store to a studio room and create new garden store.  Cllr Hewitt/Cllr Morris to complete Parish Council observations and deliver comments at 20 December 2017 Parish Council meeting.  Clerk has requested an extension for PC observations (due 7 December 2017 to NDDC Development Control).

2/2017/0782/HOUSE - 6 Marysfield, New Field Lane, Shroton DT11 8PY - Proposal - Erect single storey extension(demolish existing extension).  Cllr Bird for Parish Council observations and comments at Planning Matters on 21 June 2017.


2/2017/0768/HOUSE - 16 Main Street Shroton DT11 8QD - Proposal - Erect single storey side extension with porch and single storey rear extension, both linking house to existing outbuilding and re-roof outbuilding with slate. Form new pedestrian access (stop-up existing pedestrian access).  This is an alternative scheme to that approved under Planning Permission 2/2017/0029/HOUSE.  Cllr Mower for Parish Council observations and comments for planning matters at Parish Council meeting 17 May 2017.  


2/2017/0375/CATREE - Edenfield, Fairfield Road, Shroton DT11 8QA - Proposal - T1 - Beech - Fell, tree is encroaching on the property and the trunk is co-dominant and has a poor union.  T2 - Apple - Fell, tree is too large for garden.  T3 - Cherry - Deadwood (exempt from application).


2/2017/0148/FULThe Ranchers, Frog Lane, Shroton DT11 8QL – Enlarge and extend existing dwelling and erect detached double garage and demolish 2 existing conservatories. Cllr Bird and Cllr Morris for PC observations/comments. Parish Clerk has requested an extension to gauge community observations for March 2017 Parish Council meeting.


2/2017/0086/FUL - 31 Applins Farm, Farrington Bridge To Farrington Village Farrington DT11 8RA - Change of use from Class B2 to enable vehicle maintenance and repair (retrospective) and install MOT testing facilities. Cllr Bennett for PC observations/comments.


2/2017/0029/HOUSE 16 Main Street, Shroton, DT11 8QD - Proposal - Erect single storey side extension with porch and single storey rear extension both linking house to existing outbuilding, and re-roof with slate.  Form new pedestrian access - stop up existing pedestrian access.  The proposed development impacts upon a Conservation Area.  Cllr Hewitt to complete Parish Council observations and consultation for the Parish Council.  This application will be tabled at the 18 January 2017 council meeting.


2/2016/1843/CATREE 1 The Glebe, Shroton, DT11 8PX - Proposal T1 Silver Birch - prune back lower branch growing out into neighbouring property (Cobblers Corner) by 1.5 metres to suitable grown point to re-balance tree crown - not overhanging neighbouring property.


2/2016/1763/TEL Various sites in the NDDC area - Proposal - Removal of Telephone Boxes consultation.  Extension requested for this application to be tabled at 21 December 2016 Parish Council meeting.  Telephone box in Main Street, Shroton refers.

2/2016/1626/FUL The Ranchers, Frog Lane, Shroton DT11 8QL - Proposal - to enlarge and extend existing dwelling and erect a double garage.  Parish Clerk received this application 5:00 pm Wednesday 16 November 2016.  Request for an extension of the observation and consultation period for the Parish Council to complete sent to NDDC 5:20 pm advising this application will be tabled at 21 December 2016 Parish Council meeting.  Cllr Bird and Cllr Morris to complete the observations and consultation for the Parish Council.


2/2016/1615/CATREE Ivy Cottage, The Corner, Shroton, DT11 8QH Proposal - T1 - Grey Sallow - Remove one large overhanging branch 3m from ground and growing in a southerly direction. Crown reduce by 1.5m.   T2 - Hazel - Reduce branches that are causing damage to our neighbours roof. Remove the branches over the roof and reduce overall canopy by 1m.   T3 - Young Sweet Chestnut - Fell. We are seeking permission to fell a Young Sweet Chestnut tree in the centre of our garden. We suspect it was 'squirrel sown' and it is becoming a problem, overshadowing an already shady garden. We have a number of mature trees and this one needs to go as it is entirely the wrong position for the house, garden and Calor Gas tank nearby. We should have removed it when we first acquired the property and it was just a whippy sapling. The garden is about to be redone and there will be new plantings to replace this tree with one more appropriate to the location. Valid comments to Environment@north-dorset.gov.uk  Tabled at November 2016 Parish Council meeting.  If no decision has been made by 14 December 2016 the applicant may carry out the works proposed as long as they do so within two years from the date of the application and do no more work than is set out in that application.


2/2016/1519/CPE Ranston Farm, Main Street, Shroton - Application for a Certificate of Lawfulness to continue using the land to station a residential mobile home.  The Parish Council is required to respond collectively with an extension up to 18 November 2016 for the return of comments and observations NDDC.


2/2016/1523/LBC The Tithe Barn, Church Farm, Fairfield Road, Shroton - to carry out internal strengthening works (regularisation of works).  Previous development application 2/2012/0361/PLNG with grant of Planning Permission dated 21 January 2014 with Schedule of Conditions.  Parish Council to complete observations and comments; the Clerk has requested an extension 18 November 2016 for the application comments to be returned to NDDC Development Control and the Conservation Officer(s).

Tabled at 16 January 2016 meeting - no objections or comments to add to this application.  Parish Council noted building material delivery and associated equipment vehicles will not be parked on Main Street during this development.


2/2015/1708/CATREE 9 Courtney Close DT11 8RD - Plum - Fell and replant with alternative species.   The current regulations require that local people are given the opportunity to comment on the proposals - local residents can view the application at NDDC planning application web page above. Any comments or views must be made to NDDC within three weeks of the application with valid views or comments by 22 Dec 2015.
