Clerk returned to Dorset Council Planning Process Team a 'no objection' to this application 16 April 2020.

I refer to your notice received on 28th January 2020 concerning trees at the above address. With regard to your notification of intent to carry out tree works at the above location, I can confirm that the Council has no objection to the works specified, i.e:

T2 - Silver Birch - Remove truncated branches/stubs. Remove major dead wood - Exempt. (No permission required).

T3 - Ash - Remove all dead wood - Exempt. (No permission required). T5 - Crack Willow - Re-pollard.

T7 - Field Maple - Remove major dead wood - Exempt. (No permission required).

T8 - Crack Willow - Reduce crown by up to 4m.

T12 - Beech - Crown lift to 5.2m over highway. Remove major dead wood - Exempt. (No permission required).

T13 - Sweet Chestnut - Crown lift to 5.2m over highway. Crown clean by removing broken/hanging branches and major dead wood - Exempt. (No permission required).

Please note; the period of consent lasts two years from the date you received this letter. If the work is not completed within this time scale a new application must be submitted. Informative Note  Disturbance of wildlife: It is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to disturb Protected Species. It is therefore advisable to consult your tree surgeon/consultant to agree an acceptable time for carrying out any work.  All work should be undertaken in accordance with the minimum standards of the British Standard for tree works B.S.3998: 2010 Tree Work - Recommendations. You are asked to ensure that the attached copy of this decision is with the contractor or foreman on site when this work is carried out.
